These are my notes from the web part of the foundation bootcamp at Parsons School of Design, New York. Graduate level, at the start of my MFA in Design and Technology, which ran from 2018 to 2020.
The bootcamp had a coding part, a design part, and a web part, and each set of notes has its own page here. This one is the web side.
I came to Parsons from Electronics and Communication Engineering at BITS Pilani. Engineering gave me a way of thinking in systems. Parsons gave that instinct a design vocabulary. The web bootcamp was where code and design first started to meet in the same room.
I have been putting notes online since 2013, from a hostel room, free for anyone who wanted to learn. At least one person in the world has studied from my notes every single day since then. These notes are part of that library. They are free.
