These are my handwritten Computer Programming notes from first year, first semester, Electronics and Communication Engineering at BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus.
The notes are in C: fundamentals, control structures, functions, arrays, pointers, and basic data structures. They follow the course from the beginning and work through each of those topics in order.
I learned this course by teaching friends and classmates. That is also how I found out whether I really understood it. If you can explain something until it clicks for someone else, you understand it. If you cannot, you go back and keep working. Understanding something deeply enough to teach it is the highest form of mastery.
In 2013, from a hostel room, I put my handwritten notes online at akshansh.net. Since then, at least one person in the world has studied from my notes every day. They are free.
