These are my graduate notes for Design and Education at Parsons School of Design, New York. First year, spring 2019. MFA in Design and Technology, 2018 to 2020.
Back at BITS Pilani, teaching friends and classmates was how I learned. Teaching forces you to understand something clearly enough to pass it on, and that effort changes what you know. Design and Education asked me to think about that instinct more carefully, and I brought everything I had already learned to it.
These notes follow that course in full.
In 2013, from a hostel room, I put my handwritten notes online at akshansh.net so others could learn from them. Since 2013, at least one person in the world studies from my notes every single day. They are free.
