The name Akshadi holds two names inside it: mine and my wife's. That felt right from the start.

I built this in July twenty twenty-five. Plain HTML, plain CSS, plain JavaScript. No frameworks.

The question driving it was simple: how do you bring intention to something as uncertain as starting a family? I found two different answers to that question: one ancient, one modern. Vedic astrology reads time by cosmic positioning. Biology reads time by cycles. Akshadi runs both calculations, tracks cycles, and marks the auspicious windows.

I keep it now as an archive. A small, finished thing. If you pressed play, you already know why.

The name Akshadi holds two names inside it: mine and my wife’s. That felt right from the start.

I built it in July 2025, vibe-coded with AI, written in plain HTML, CSS and JavaScript. No frameworks. The idea was to bring intention and meaning to planning for parenthood: not just to track data, but to bring two very different ways of reading time into one intimate tool.

Vedic astrology reads time by cosmic positioning. Biology reads time by cycles. A dual-mode calculation engine runs both. It calculates auspicious windows and tracks biological cycles, so you can see the moments where they meet.

Ancient wisdom and modern science aren’t opposites here. They’re two languages describing the same care, read in the same breath.

I keep it now as an archive. A small, finished thing, built for one purpose, for one person I love. It launched, and it did what it was meant to do.
