AkshAdi joins two names: mine and my wife's. That tells you what this is.

I wanted a proper home cinema for the films from my wedding. Twenty-one of them. I built it in August twenty twenty-five, vibe-coding the whole thing with AI. It lived on Replit. That host died. At the end of August twenty twenty-six I rescued it. During that rescue I discovered something. It needed no server at all. The films are YouTube embeds. All the details are built into the page. Fully static. Zero ongoing cost.

You can browse three ways: Cinema, Grid, or Film Strip. The live link is on this page.

Memories this precious should outlive any platform.

I wanted a proper home cinema for my wife’s and my wedding films. Twenty-one of them. AkshAdi joins the two names, hers and mine, and that felt like the right thing to call it.

I vibe-coded it with AI in August 2025. You can browse three ways: Cinema, Grid and Film Strip. It lived on Replit. That host died, and left a 404 where the films used to be.

On 31 August 2026, I rescued it and rehosted it on here.now. During the rescue I realised it needed no server at all. At some point I had already refactored it into an eternal archive: 100% static, zero ongoing cost, zero maintenance. The films are YouTube embeds. All the metadata is compiled directly into the page. React, TypeScript, Vite and Tailwind.

Memories this precious should outlive any platform. That’s the principle behind the archive. It’s about making it impossible to lose, not just making it work again.

It’s live. The link is on this page.
