Most companies give new hires a login. This one gives them an enrollment. The day someone joins, Gurukul registers them: a Gurukul ID, curriculum, faculty, examinations, certification, convocation. It's not the look of a university. It's an actual one, inside the institution.

I kept coming back to one idea when I built this. A standard learning platform is the floor. Gurukul had to be a real institution. The skill development team runs it as registrar.

Three things finished together: the institution, the application that runs it, and the identity it wears. It went live in late July twenty twenty-six. Hindi support, accessibility fixes, deans and course packs are still to come. I want you to see it grow.

I did not build a learning platform. I built a university.

Gurukul is an internal institution inside the pharma company I work with. The skill development team runs it as its registrar. The day someone joins the company, they are enrolled. Not as a formality, but as a student of Gurukul, with a Gurukul ID, a curriculum, faculty, examinations, certification, and a convocation waiting at the end.

Industry-grade learning platform features are the floor. The form is a real university. That distinction mattered to me from the start.

I built three things together and finished them together: the institution itself, the application that runs it, and the identity it wears. Documentation came first, then the code. The identity settled the day after Gurukul went live in late July 2026.

Status: Building. What runs already works, from enrollment to certificate. What remains: a login fix, keyboard and reduced-motion support, Hindi, a real-world walkthrough, and filling in the deans and course packs. Brand decisions are still open. Each of those is a known step.
