Germs learn to survive the medicines. That is antimicrobial resistance. I work with a pharma company. The question came naturally: what if you could play it?
ResistX is an arcade shooter in the style of Ikaruga. It has three difficulties: Prophylaxis, Standard, and Outbreak. It features stage intros, boss fights, and chain scoring. I vibe-coded it with AI in January twenty twenty-six.
The original host died and the game went dark. In August twenty twenty-six I rescued it, rehosted it as a fully static game, and dropped the online leaderboard rather than leave it broken. Your personal best stays in your browser.
It is live now. Go play.

Antimicrobial resistance is concrete. Germs learn. They mutate. They survive the medicines meant to stop them. That is the problem. ResistX makes you feel it.
I built this arcade shooter for the pharma company I work with. The style draws from Ikaruga. The enemy is biology doing what biology does.
The game runs entirely in the browser: canvas rendering, no server required. Three difficulty tiers: Prophylaxis, Standard, and Outbreak. Each stage opens with an intro. Boss fights mark the turning points. Chain scoring rewards you for staying composed under pressure.
I vibe-coded it with AI in January 2026.
The original host disappeared and the game went dark. In August 2026 I rescued it and rehosted it as a fully static game. The online leaderboard needed a server, so I dropped it rather than leave it broken. Nothing changed for you. Your personal best was always stored in the browser, and it still shows on the title screen.
ResistX is live. You can play it now.
