BizCom App

UI/UXMobile AppBrandingCommunicationProduct Design

A unified business communication app for Spine Software that intelligently integrates chat, email, SMS, calls, documents, and to-dos into a single interface, complete with a custom mascot and a color-coded notification system.

BizCom is a communication app for businesses which intelligently integrates the chat, email, SMS, call, document, and to-dos of employees in a company to provide a uniform interface for everything. The app was designed for Spine Software to simplify the fragmented communication landscape within organizations.

A key element of the brand identity is Chatty, the app’s mascot, whose body letters spell out B-I-Z-C-O-M. Chatty serves as a friendly, approachable face for what is fundamentally a productivity tool, making the app feel accessible rather than corporate.

The app uses a color-coded notification system to help users instantly identify the type of incoming communication at a glance: green for calls, red for SMS, orange for chat, navy for email, light blue for to-dos, and purple when multiple types of notifications arrive simultaneously. This system reduces cognitive load and allows users to triage communications quickly without opening each app individually.
