@ClimateChange is a virtual reality experience designed to show the transformation of the environment through different ages of human civilization, starting from the Neolithic, to Medieval, to Modern, and ending with the Future age. The experience is structured as four concentric worlds, each representing a distinct era, allowing the viewer to witness the cumulative environmental impact of human progress.
The project was created as a group collaboration by Akshansh Chaudhary, Mario Dcunha, Sweksha Sinha, and Yashwanth Iragattapu. Akshansh was responsible for designing the Modern age world and compiling all four worlds together into the final unified experience. The experience was built in Unity3D and exported to run on both Google Cardboard and Oculus Go, making it accessible across different VR platforms.
By placing the viewer at the center of four layered environments — each showing a different stage of human civilization — the experience creates a visceral sense of environmental change over time. Moving from the lush Neolithic landscape through to a bleak and polluted future world, the project invites reflection on the consequences of unchecked industrial and technological growth.
